Outdoor activities

Whether you're into beach holidays, water sports and sunrises, magnificent and unspoilt nature or hiking in forests and meadows, you've come to the right place in North Eastern Jutland. Here, nature is both magical and inviting, and experiences await you all year round. For example, visit the big moose in Lille Vildmose or birdwatch at the grey lighthouse in Skagen or Bulbjerg Fuglefjeld. Go for a walk along the Kattegat coast or take the whole family and your packed lunch to Kandestederne. The possibilities are endless - the choice is yours!

do not feed the animal

keep dogs on a lead in areas where wolves are present

contact the authorities if you encounter a wolf behaving unusually

Tourists and members of the public are urged to follow local recommendations and keep up to date with the authorities’ official information.

The Agency for Green Space Planning and the Aquatic Environment (SGAV) has produced official guidelines in Danish, German and English on spending time in the countryside in areas where wolves may be present.
