Farstrup Church
The church is comprised of a Romanesque aisle, and has a Gothic extension of the aisle towards west. Towards north, you will find the tower, church porch, and sacristy. The church was erected in 1473.
The church features a beautiful wood carving by Danish carver, Lorentz Jørgensen made in 1650. Farstrup church is the only church in Jutland to have one of Jørgensen’s carvings, as he was situated in Holbæk on Zealand, and his works are therefore much more prominently featured in the surrounding areas.
