Serritslev Church
The church in Serritslev is a small village church north of Brønderslev, built app. in 1200.
It is a church without a steeple.It has to be said that it is beautifully situated close to the impressive ancient burial mound, called: "Klanghøj", where the belfry of the church is now situated. Hence the name (“belfry mound”).
The porch of the church was built in the years around 1500 in medieval large bricks, which have been whitewashed.The porch is fitted with tiled roof, whereas the church itself is roofed with lead
