Essens Gaarden

Essens Gaarden has a 5-hectare kitchen garden that supplies the farm with vegetables, flowers and herbs all year round. The vision behind Gaarden is to create a universe where the focus is on raw ingredients.

Come to the countryside and dine in idyllic surroundings. If you are looking for a place with high ceilings, splendour and good ingredients, you are very welcome.

Essens Gaarden's restaurant is open every week from Wednesday to Friday at 6.30 p.m., where you can experience the essence of Gaarden. An extraordinary experience with delicious dishes. Without giving too much away, we can promise that it will be an experience you won't find anywhere else, and that you will leave with a smile on your face.

The price includes appetisers with bubbles and a 5-course menu that reflects our large kitchen garden as well as fish from Strandby and meat from the local area. There are a limited number of seats per day, and table reservations are required.

Every other Tuesday at 6 p.m., we have Everyday Life at the Farm on even weeks. Everyday Life at the Farm is known from the TV 2 programme Sæt pris på Danmark (Appreciate Denmark). Here, good food and cosiness are paramount. We make a classic dish that we have interpreted. You can eat as much as you like, as there is plenty of food.
