Harvest Festival & Lightfall at Fårup

True to tradition, Fårup Sommerland transforms into Denmark’s cosiest Harvest Festival in week 42, where you can also experience “Lysfald,” as the park and forest are illuminated by thousands of beautiful lights.
This year, Lightfall has a very special addition: an atmospheric drone show with more than 400 drones painting the night sky over Lake Orkan in beautiful moving images.

Spooky-Cozy Halloween
Aalborg Zoo invites you to North Jutland’s biggest Halloween party with plenty of frightening activities. This year, the celebration is even wilder, with a profusion of spooky-yet-cozy decorations and all sorts of creepy-crawlies swarming out from the zoo’s dark corners. New this year, you can explore an impressive world of towering sunflowers and giant, colorful butterflies at Lemur Square.

Autumn in Lille Vildmose

Forces of the Sea
Autumn storms leave their mark on both the sea and people—and you can experience it at the North Sea Oceanarium in October and November! Dive into the story of the wreck of the Stornoway and discover the animals that have made the sunken ship their home. Get up close to the sea’s hardy creatures and hear how they cope when the waves rise and the storm rages.
Join a journey along Denmark’s coasts in autumn, where the wind washes exciting finds ashore. During the autumn break (week 42), plenty of activities await the whole family—experiences that will stir, surprise, and delight!

The Art School at Skagens Museum
Unleash your imagination in the museum’s historic setting. Peek into Krøyer’s paint box, see the grand paintings, and set up your easel in the dunes—just like the Skagen painters. In the studio, there’s room to experiment with colours, materials, and methods, no matter your experience. Teaching is led by artist and art historian Anna Mørch.

Street Art — Prepare to Be Wowed
Take the whole family on an urban expedition to discover some of the 75+ impressive murals on façades around Aalborg. Use the digital walk on enjoynordjylland.dk and experience art on a grand scale.

Bridges to the Past in Sæby
