Halloween in North Jutland

In October, Aalborg Zoo turns into a massive Halloween celebration. There will be (un)spooky decorations, pumpkin fun, and all sorts of creepy-crawly animals emerging from the darkness. At the cemetery of the undead, you can send a thought to the animal species no longer among us or meet Dr. Bone as he roams between the tombstones. In the feeding factory, you can learn about the elephants' eerie droppings, which might give even the bravest a fright. You can also look forward to a hide-and-seek game in the large straw maze.

Experience true autumn vibes and maximum coziness as Fårup Sommerland once again opens its doors for the Harvest Festival! The park is beautifully decorated, and there are plenty of fun activities like celeriac bowling, potato throwing, and pumpkin tic-tac-toe. Do you have as good a sense of direction as a hedgehog? Then test your skills in the Hedgehog’s big hay bale maze! Scattered throughout the park, you'll also find cozy bonfire spots where you can warm up and enjoy some of the park’s delicious treats. As darkness falls, the park transforms into a magical universe with thousands of twinkling lights, where you can embark on an enchanting journey of light and sound during Lightfall.

Husk at sætte kryds i kalenderen den 16. november 2024, hvor Hovedbiblioteket inviterer til Aalborgs mest uhyggelige endagsfestival! Her kan du dykke ned i horrorgenren og stille din (blod)tørst efter gys. Festivalen er for alle gyserentusiaster, og dagen vil som altid byde på lidt af hvert: oplysende foredrag, spændende interviews og kuldegysninger undervejs.
