Salling Christmas Garden – Christmas magic in Aalborg

Christmas moves to new heights as Salling ROOFTOP in Aalborg is transformed into Salling Christmas Garden. The atmospheric Christmas experience opens on 13 November at 16:30, inviting children and adults to explore a winter setting filled with lights, seasonal scenes and views across the city. Following the success of Christmas Garden in Aarhus, support from Salling Fondene has made it possible to bring the experience to Aalborg.

A glowing Christmas world on Salling ROOFTOP

At Salling Christmas Garden, the warmth of Christmas meets the wintry atmosphere of the far north. Across Salling ROOFTOP, you can discover atmospheric light installations, illuminated Christmas trees, sparkling icicles, imaginative buildings and small polar bears. At the heart of the experience stands an eight-metre-high illuminated polar bear overlooking the rooftops of Aalborg.

The Christmas lights can also be seen from the streets below, offering passers-by a glimpse of the winter world above Salling. The full experience awaits on the ROOFTOP, where the installations are combined with views across Aalborg. After exploring Christmas Garden, you can continue enjoying the festive atmosphere on the ROOFTOP and throughout Salling.

A Christmas experience for Aalborg

Salling Christmas Garden has been made possible through a donation from Salling Fondene. According to Salling, the aim is to create a setting where families and friends can share memorable moments while experiencing Aalborg from a new perspective. Christmas Garden also becomes part of Salling Aalborg's wider Christmas programme, which includes seasonal decorations and the traditional Christmas light ceremony.

Opening of Salling Christmas Garden

Christmas Garden opens on 13 November at 16:30. On the opening day, visitors can experience a selection of activities and festive entertainment on Salling ROOFTOP. Further details about the programme will be announced as they become available.
