Saint Lucia procession in Frederikshavn
More than 50 children from the city’s schools and institutions will take part in the atmospheric Saint Lucia procession, which begins at the Tordenskjold statue at Fisketorvet on December 11, at 4.15 pm.

On 11 December, Frederikshavn’s Christmas-decorated streets come alive with the glow of a beautiful Saint Lucia procession.
Children and young people dressed in traditional Saint Lucia costumes and carrying lights fill the streets with familiar Saint Lucia songs, creating a special December atmosphere.
The procession begins at the Tordenskiold statue at Fisketorvet and continues to Frederikshavn Kirke. The evening concludes with a charming mini Christmas concert.
In addition to the Saint Lucia procession, Santa Julle will hand out surprise gifts from KidsCoolshop between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
In the afternoon, the Christmas horse Luke will pull a horse-drawn carriage offering shuttle rides between Kirkepladsen and Fisketorvet.
