Are you curious about Aalborg’s history, your family history, your local area or the many stories hidden away in the archive’s collections? Then come along to an introduction to Aalborg City Archives.

We’ll take you on a guided tour of the archive’s collections and show you how to find and use photographs, archival records, maps, newspapers and other historical sources. You’ll be introduced to our digital search tools, so you can explore them for yourself from home.

The event is aimed at both new users and those who’d like to learn more about the many opportunities offered by the Aalborg City Archives.

Come and discover how the archive’s collections open the door to stories about Aalborg and the people who have shaped the city over the years. We look forward to seeing you.

The event will begin with a short presentation, after which you’ll be free to explore the collection at your own pace. Help and guidance will be available throughout. Coffee and biscuits will also be served.

Please feel free to bring your own computer if you wish to take notes or try out the archive’s search page or the other websites that will be introduced.
