Nine Readings with Bishop Thomas Reinholdt Rasmussen

On Sunday, 13 December at 4.30 pm, you can experience the Nine Readings at Budolfi Kirke – Aalborg Cathedral. The tradition originally comes from England, but this version of the event is held entirely in Danish. Bishop Thomas Reinholdt Rasmussen presents all nine readings.

Readings, choral music and congregational hymns

Music is provided by Budolfi Kirkes Kantori and the church’s organists. The programme also includes congregational hymns, giving visitors the opportunity to join in. Signe Buch Ladehoff conducts the choir, with Jørgen Ellekilde on the organ.
