Nine Lessons at Budolfi Kirke – Aalborg Cathedral

The traditional Nine Lessons takes place at Budolfi Kirke – Aalborg Cathedral on Wednesday, 2 December at 7 pm. The readings, hymns and choral works are all in English, with a number of different voices contributing throughout the evening.

Readings, hymns and choral works in English

Readers include the rector of the university, the rector of UCN and international students. The music is performed by Budolfi Kirkes Kantori, conducted by Signe Buch Ladehoff, with Jørgen Ellekilde on the organ.

Throughout the event, the church is illuminated by changing lighting designed to complement the music and readings. Light, words and music therefore become part of the overall experience inside Aalborg Cathedral.
