Nature Adventures

Natureventyr is a Danish app that makes it easy to combine nature experiences with storytelling. Along selected routes around Denmark, you and your family are guided through adventures where the story unfolds chapter by chapter as you make your way through the countryside. Along the way, new parts of the story are triggered via your phone’s GPS, so that nature becomes an active part of the experience. The adventures have been developed with a focus on children and families, providing a framework for physical activity, imagination and shared experiences in the great outdoors.

Each adventure is based on the specific area in which it takes place. Nature, cultural history and local tales are woven into the plot, allowing children to experience their surroundings in a new way. Through questions, tasks and small challenges, participants become an active part of the story whilst exploring forests, parks, coastal areas and other natural environments.
