On 28 November and 5 and 12 December 2026, you can explore Østerby in Skagen on a guided Christmas walk around Brøndums Hotel. The tour takes place from 14:30 to 15:30 and combines the history of the hotel with stories about the local community and cultural history.

The hotel's storyteller, Ane Bjerg Thomsen, formerly a communications development specialist at Skagens Kunstmuseum, leads participants through the neighbourhood. Along the way, she shares stories about Brøndums Hotel, the local community and its cultural history, with particular emphasis on fascinating and quirky tales.
Hear how Brøndums Hotel became a regular meeting place for artists and local personalities. The stories also cover festive occasions and luxurious dinners, as well as a very different side of life by the sea, including dramatic shipwrecks and the harsh living conditions experienced by fishing families.

After the walk, the experience continues inside Brøndums Hotel. The hotel's Christmas-decorated rooms and the warmth of the fireplace provide a cosy setting for the final part of the event, accompanied by Brøndums glögg and homemade cookies.
