Close to Skagen and North Jutland's attractions
DCU-Camping Ålbæk Strand have a great location in North Jutland, close to Skagen, Grenen, Råbjerg Mile, the Sand-Covered Church, The National Park of Eagles, Hvide-Klit golf course and much more. Just outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and bike paths going in both northern and southern direction. If you are ready on a beautiful bike ride, then there is only 20 km to Skagen - and if you are an early bird, you can see the fishermen landing their catch at the harbor in Ålbæk.
Child-friendly beach and clean natural swimming lake
DCU-Camping Ålbæk Strand is located right next to a child-friendly beach, and inside the campsite you will find Denmark's first natural swimming lake on 200 square km. The lake is free of chlorine and other chemicals and is divided into a children's section, a shallow section and a deep-water section.
At the campsite you will find 300 large pitches with electricity and 100 nature pitches. 20 cabins for rent - the 11 with shower and toilet. In the summer of 2020 a new large playground was constructed with bouncy castle, cable car, swings and entertainment for the kids.
