Christmas workshop at Kystmuseet Skagen

At Kystmuseet Skagen, you can spend a couple of creative hours making your own Christmas wreath on Saturday, 5 December 2026. The Christmas workshop takes place from 1 pm to 3 pm and gives both children and adults the opportunity to add a personal touch to a traditional Christmas decoration. Your finished wreath can be used on the front door or as part of a Christmas decoration with candles.

During the workshop, Kystmuseet's creative museum employee Lone will be on hand with ideas, tips and practical guidance. You do not need any previous experience of making or decorating wreaths. The focus is on enjoying the creative process and making a Christmas wreath that you can take home with you afterwards.

Creative Christmas workshop in Skagen

The Christmas workshop gives you the chance to spend a December afternoon enjoying a relaxed creative activity in Skagen. You decide how you want your Christmas wreath to look, while Lone provides inspiration and practical advice along the way. The activity is suitable whether you already enjoy creative projects or simply want to try making your own Christmas decoration.

The event takes place at Kystmuseet Skagen, a museum that explores the history of Skagen through themes including fishing, sea rescue and maritime life. For this afternoon, the cultural-historical setting provides the backdrop for a creative Christmas activity.

Price and participation in the Christmas workshop

The price is DKK 50 per wreath and covers the materials used to make it. Payment is made at the entrance. You do not need a museum admission ticket to take part in the Christmas workshop, so the activity is also open to visitors who are only coming to join the workshop.

Everyone is welcome to take part. Children must be accompanied by an adult. At the end of the workshop, you can take your finished Christmas wreath home and use it as a personal addition to your Christmas decorations.
