Accessibility and Parking lot at Grenen
At Grenen there is a large parking lot for cars, motorhomes and tourist buses.
The way to the parking lot at Grenen
You can get to Grenen either by car, by bike (which can be rented in several places in the city) - or as many do: on foot. Maskinrummet also has an old Bedford bus that runs to Grenen at selected times. It starts at Maskinrummet and stops at Plesners Badehotel.
If you come to Skagen by car and have your starting point from Skagen town, you can get to Grenen by driving through the town along Chr. d. X´s Vej and turning left at the traffic lights at Nordjyske Bank/Foldens Hotel, then simply drive north until you can go no further, and you'll end up at the parking lot at Grenen.
If your starting point is not Skagen town, the easiest way to get to Grenen is via Bøjlevejen, which you find by turning left at the first roundabout you encounter when you arrive in Skagen - then just follow the signs to Grenen.
If you're a cyclist, just follow the West Coast Route which ends at Grenen and pedestrians can either choose the same route as the cyclists or walk along the beach.
Grenen has a large parking lot for cars, motorhomes and coaches. Please note - payment can only be made by card and mobile payment - no cash payments.
The way to Grenen from the parking lot
From the parking lot at Grenen you can either choose to walk to the tip of Grenen - you'll find your way there via a path to the right of the restaurant/museum building - here you'll also pass Drachmann's Tomb (note that the last part of the way to Grenen is in sand) - or you can choose to drive with Sandormen.
