In Seaman Aalborg are one of the activities to transport seafarers from the port to the hotel/city in one of the hybrid cars. With the organic cuisine label in bronze, you can enjoy organic ingredients ranging from the organic breakfast to the crispy organic vegetables that are in season. The ingredients are from local and Danish suppliers such as Aalborg Mejeri, Aalborg Chokoladen and Himmerland, who have high regard for animal welfare. The green collaboration with TooGoodToGo supports Aalborg Airport Hotel’s aim of combating food waste. In regards to the hotel’s sustainable procurement policy, they focus buying on long-term and resource-saving products as well interiors that are both certified and environmentally approved.

Rold StorKro

Rold Storkro has since 1998 been Green Key certified which is an expression of their compliance with the requirements for the protection of their environment. The spring water served is fetched at a depth of 91 meters and comes up with a temperature of approx. 7 degrees, all year round. Rold Storkro has a collaboration with Unicef, where you as a guest can help make a difference by buying a liter of water in one of the restaurants and thus support with 1000 liters of clean water for children from all over the world.

Zleep Hotel Aalborg

Zleep Hotel Aalborg has the Organic Food Label in bronze, which means that they use 30-60% organic ingredients within their breakfast buffet. Zleep hotel have made the active decision to remove plastic bottles, and have designed a water bottle which is produced from 100% bio-based materials that you can bring around during your visit. The bottle consists of sugar cane and the lid of bamboo and liquid wood. You will also experience many of the breakfast products, including cream cheese, butter and Nutella, are being served in portion sizes to reduce any food waste.
