Dansk Møllefestival (Danish Mill Festival)
Experience the thrill of history at Dorf Møllegård, as the museum hosts the Danish Mill Festival for the first time during the autumn half-term. The Mill Festival takes place on 15 and 16 October from 10.00 to 16.00.
The programme has something for everyone. Among other things, children can try their hand at the mill school, go on a treasure hunt and meet the miller’s wife from the 19th century. In the kitchen, you can sample some porridge whilst listening to fairy tales.
Mill enthusiasts will have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of mills through talks and a workshop on mills.
Everything takes place in beautiful historic surroundings on the edge of Jyske Ås near Dronninglund.
