Christmasmarket at Knivholt

Christmas at Knivholt – tradition, coziness, and Christmas joy for the whole family.
The Christmas spirit is beginning to spread at Knivholt Manor, where preparations for this year’s Christmas market are in full swing. The stalls are being allocated, fir branches and decorations are being brought out, and the joyful anticipation can already be felt.

Christmas at Knivholt takes place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December from 10 AM to 4 PM, and as tradition dictates, the market offers everything you need for a truly authentic Christmas experience.

Visitors can look forward to a wide range of stalls selling Christmas trees, sweets, handicrafts, decorations, ornaments, and much more. In the blacksmith’s and woodturner’s workshops, guests can watch the craftsmen at work and purchase their products.

“We are proud that once again this year we can host Save the Children’s Wishing Tree, where visitors can take a wish and help spread Christmas joy to others,” says manager Ulrik Bang.

New for children this year

A new addition in 2025 is that “Mother Christmas” will read cozy Christmas stories to the children every hour at the Nature Centre near the Sognefogedgården Museum stand – a wonderful Christmas experience for the youngest in the family.

Plenty of Christmas treats

Throughout the market, small cafés will offer delicious food and warm drinks. Here, guests can enjoy soup, grilled sausages, pancakes, æbleskiver, coffee, tea, mulled wine, and hot chocolate – perfect for taking a break during the festive hustle and bustle.

In short, Christmas at Knivholt is a charming and atmospheric Christmas market for all ages, where the Christmas spirit grows with every step.
