Choir 72 Christmas concert at Budolfi Kirke in Aalborg

Christmas music fills Budolfi Kirke – Aalborg Domkirke when around 100 choir singers come together for a festive concert. On Saturday, 21 November 2026 at 3 pm, you can hear the large choir perform alongside brass musicians under the direction of conductor Søren Birch.

Christmas music for choir and brass

The programme combines beautiful Danish Christmas music with festive pieces featuring different musical expressions. The concert moves between a cappella songs, where the voices stand on their own, and choral arrangements accompanied by a brass quintet.

The changing musical settings create variation throughout the concert and allow both the many choral voices and the brass instruments to take their place in the setting of Budolfi Kirke.
