Fruer med Druer presents a 45-minute choir concert at Klosterkirken on Saturday, 5 December. The concert takes place at 3 pm and is repeated at 4.30 pm, giving you two opportunities to step away from the Christmas rush and enjoy rhythmic choral music.

Rhythmic women’s choir from Aalborg

Fruer med Druer is a rhythmic women’s choir from Aalborg, founded in 2018 by a group of women with a shared love of singing. What began as a social community among students with an interest in harmonies, singing and good company has developed into a dedicated women’s choir combining musical ambition with a strong sense of community.

The singers play an active part in shaping the choir and its musical expression. They contribute to conducting, arranging music and developing the repertoire, allowing individual ideas and musical influences to become part of the choir’s sound.

Pop, modern choral music and Nordic sounds

The repertoire covers many forms of rhythmic choral music, from pop and modern choir arrangements to Nordic sounds. The programme combines energetic music, vocal harmonies and quieter moments designed to bring a sense of calm.

The 3 pm concert lasts 45 minutes. The same concert is repeated at 4.30 pm at Klosterkirken.
