Fluffy Æbleskiver

At Dorf Møllegaard, you can experience true coziness and nostalgia as the housewife bakes Æbleskiver on the old stove. This is not just an ordinary Æbleskiver experience – it’s a journey back in time, where you can buy and enjoy Æbleskiver in the charming rooms of a beautifully preserved old home.

Glögg for a Good Cause

Brøndums Hotel, Skagen Harbour Hotel, Skagen Fiskerestaurant, Ruths Hotel, Plesners Badehotel, and Color Hotel Skagen have for the second year joined forces for a charitable Christmas project: “Glögg for a Good Cause.” For every glass of glögg sold, they donate 15% of the proceeds to BROEN Frederikshavn, an organization that works to give socially vulnerable children and young people access to healthy leisure activities.

Are you on the hunt for sausages?

At Slagter Munch in Skagen, you’ll find delicious Christmas sausages and traditional sylte to take home for the Christmas table. At the annual Christmas market on Gammeltorv and Nytorv, the streets are filled with cozy stalls offering all kinds of specialties. And yes, you guessed it – there’s of course a grill stand right in the middle of Gammeltorv, where you can warm up with a tasty sausage. If you’re a sausage lover, this is the place to be. This grill stand doesn’t just serve ordinary sausages – they serve giant hotdogs half a meter long!

Christmas Parties in North Jutland

In northern Denmark, Christmas is fast approaching, and there are festive Christmas parties for every taste and occasion. Whether you’re a company looking for the perfect celebration, a private group wanting to enjoy the season together, or simply a bunch of party-loving friends, North Jutland has something for you.

As we all know, Skagen is the North Pole of Denmark… so where else would you go? Color Hotel Skagen invites you to a festive Christmas party. Here you can enjoy a Christmas menu designed for social dining – with cold dishes, warm courses, cheese, and desserts. Beer, water, and wine flow freely, and live music from Denmark’s smallest quartet sets the perfect Christmas mood.

If you love your Christmas party with neon and shoulder pads, grab your best 80s outfit and join the hunt for the murderer at The Christmas Mystery in Aalborg Congress & Culture Center. The venue transforms into Arne and Kirsten’s Inn, complete with colorful cocktails, disco balls, and a Danish 80s soundtrack – and right in the middle of the festivities hides a mystery for you and your colleagues to solve. Once the case is cracked, the dance floor opens with a DJ and a party that lasts late into the night.

The menu is inspired by the decade, featuring an upgraded version of “soup, roast, and ice cream,” and you can choose between a standard or a vegan menu, so everyone can join in. The evening is tied together with welcome drinks, a show, and an after-party – a Christmas celebration where storytelling, music, and food come beautifully together.

Look forward to an evening of delicious food and drinks as Comwell hosts a spectacular Christmas party in Aalborg. Comwell Hvide Hus makes it easy to gather friends, family, and colleagues for a cozy Christmas event with everything included – and with the option to stay overnight, so you don’t have to drive home. There are several dates to choose from, and you can either join the shared Christmas party or host your own private celebration in a separate room.
