Attractions in Hals
Hals is a town full of charm and exciting attractions for both children and adults. Here you can dive into history, explore old cannons and bunkers, or take a walk on the harbor and feel the atmosphere.


Hals Skanse
Today, Hals Skanse (Hals Redoubt) consists of the moat that was made over 300 years ago. Only the mounds, moat and the ravelin are left.

Hals Bicycle Museum
Hals Cykelmuseum is a museum dedicated to bicycles. Here, you will find insight into the history of cycling and the technology behind it. The collection is extensive and bound to have some fun stories.

The Bunkers at Nordmandshage
The Bunkers at Nordmandshage are from World War II and were used to monitor traffic coming into Limfjorden from the sea. More than 190,000 sacks of cement were used to build the compound and 600 men worked in the bunkers during the war.

The Whale Jaws
The new whale jaw is made by Tech College students. It is made from glass fibre and matches the original measurements while the original jaws are kept at the Art Historical Museum.

Golden Harald Wood Sculpture
Golden Harald Wood Sculpture could be found near the roundabout in Hals until it was moved to a more central location in the town, namely Lille Torv. It was made in 2007 by Allan Bo Jensen.

Hals Harbour
Hals Harbour is placed right by the Limfjord. It is the first harbor you will encounter from the East, and the harbor is located close to the town of Hals.
