Hou South Beach
Hou South Beach lies as a natural frame around the town of Hou. The beach is 6 kilometres long, reaching all the way down to Hals. The Beach is kid-friendly.

Hou North Beach
At Hou North Beach is a much more wild beach. Here you find green hills leading down to a beautiful, white, sandy stretch of beach that hits the blue water.

Teglværkssøerne
Teglværkssøerne is a beautiful natural resort, where clay used to be dug up for the tileworks. This created several natural lakes with a rich plant- and bird-life. The area is nowadays a nature reserve with a landing stage for boats, shelters and fire ring, and natural paths.

Koldkær Forest
Koldkær Skov (Koldkær Forest) is a forest located between Hou and Hals, spreading across 60 acres of land. It reaches all the way to the Kattegat, and was mainly comprised of moor.

The North Sea Trail
The North Sea Trail is part of the North Sea Trail and NAVE Nortail project, which aims to establish walking routes on old historic paths along the entire North Sea Trail.

Hou Harbor Bath
Hou Harbor Bath is the perfect opportunity for a having a safe swim in the Kattegat! The bath is always open. You will find it by the end of the pier.
